Step 1: Mount reader according to installation guide |

Step 2: The LED on the card reader will begin to blink red and green, indicating that the unit is not yet paired with the scanner. If the light does not blink when the reader is plugged in, please double check the cords, then contact PathSpot support. |

Step 3: Once the scanner powers on, a blue RFID logo will appear in the upper right. The icon will remain blue until paired with your card reader. If no RFID logo is visible, please contact PathSpot support to activate RFID mode on your device. |

Step 4: Tap the RFID logo to begin bluetooth pairing process. A notice will appear indicating the pairing process has started. |

Step 5: A screen will appear to enter Do not check either of the displayed checkboxes. Click “OK” once the pin is entered. |

Step 6: Tap “New User” on the home screen to register with your RFID badge. |

|
Step 7: Enter your first and last name, then tap the “Employee Code” line to register your badge. A notice will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap your badge to the reader. |

Step 8: Once your badge is read by the card reader, a coded number will appear on the employee code line. Click continue once this occurs. |
|
|
Step 9: Click through the remaining prompts and your registration is complete! |
