This document will provide you simple instructions into how to set up your PowerTemp gateway. This device receives signals from your PowerTemp sensors and sends them to the PathSpot Dashboard via your wireless network.
LoRaWAN Gateway
If your Gateway has been Set Up By PathSpot:
If PathSpot preset your device to your wifi network follow the following steps:
- Plug the Gateway to power – Make sure this is as close to the wifi router as possible as this will increase our online time.
- Wait until the light turns solid green.
- Once this is done, your Gateway has been set up! If the light doesn’t turn solid green, please contact PathSpot Support or follow the step-by-step instructions in the section below.
If your Gateway has not been set up by PathSpot:
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Write down the WiFi PW located on the back of the Gateway. This will be needed in order to connect to the MiniHUB network on Step 4.
- Plug the Gateway to power – Make sure this is as close to the wifi router as possible as this will increase our online time.
- Long press the setup button for 10 sec and wait until the light starts flashing orange.
- Using your phone or a computer, connect to the wifi network MiniHUB-XXXXXX

Once you have connected to this network, open the browser and type this URL: http://192.168.4.1/
- Select one or multiple (preferred) WiFi networks you want to connect by clicking on the + button next to the network name and entering the Wifi Password.
- This page will not indicate if the password is correct or not, so make sure you are entering the correct password.
- Once you are done, click save and reboot. a. Please avoid connecting the gateway to a wifi network that usually navigates the users to a login page as you will not be able to connect. (Examples of these are airport networks).
- The Hub Wifi Status Light will flash between orange/green while it’s downloading configurations (might take 30 sec). Note the gateway will flash green before it starts flashing intermittently between orange/green. (Set up failure)
- If it remains flashing in orange/green for more than 3 min contact product@pathspottech.com
- If the pairing fails, the light will start flashing green for a min or more. (This is a wifi failure)
- If this happens retry the steps or reach out to product@pathspottech.com
- If the pairing is successful, the light will be on a solid green status.
Once your gateway is connected, you're ready to install and activate your sensors!
