This document will provide you simple instructions into how to set up your PowerTemp gateway. This device receives signals from your PowerTemp sensors and sends them to the PathSpot Dashboard via your wireless network.

Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Write down the WiFi PW located on the back of the Gateway. This will be needed in order to connect to the MiniHUB network on Step 3.
- Plug the Gateway to power – Make sure this is as close to the wifi router as possible as this will increase our online time.
- Hold the Setup button on top of the Gateway until it there is a slow blinking orange light
(Do NOT press the small RESET button. This will clear the PathSpot configurations of the Gateway and will no longer be able to connect) - Using your phone or a computer, connect to the wifi network MiniHubPro-XXXXXX and enter in the password from Step 1

Once you have connected to this network, a popup will appear on your screen to connect the Gateway to your WiFi Network.

- Select the WiFi network you want to connect by clicking on the network name under "Choose A Network" and entering the Wifi Password (if applicable). If it is a Hidden Network, click on "Add SSID manually" under "Step 3. Set Network".
- This page will not indicate if the password is correct or not, so make sure you are entering the correct password.
- If the WiFi network navigates the users to a login/splash page. The MAC address for the Gateway will need to be Whitelisted by your IT department or Internet provider (Examples of these are airport/hotel guest networks).
- Once you are done, click save.
- The Hub Wifi Status Light will flash orange and then green while it’s downloading configurations (might take +/- 30 seconds).
- If it remains flashing in orange/green for more than 3 min contact support@pathspottech.com
- If the pairing fails, the light will start flashing green for a min or more. (This is a wifi failure that is typically caused by an incorrect password)
- If this happens retry the steps or reach out to support@pathspottech.com
- If the pairing is successful, the light will be on a solid green status.
- If you are using a hidden network you can type it in free form
Once your gateway is connected, you're ready to install and activate your sensors!
